The Sound

Chuck W. grew up wishing he was as cool-looking as Sid Vicious, as different and weird as Lou Reed, and as precise as Trent Reznor. The same statement can be true across all three of these guys when saying that they embodied the idea of 'It isn't always about what exactly you play, but how you choose to play it.'

To this day, he remains none of these three people mentioned above. That's because they are other people. That makes it hard to BE them. He can try to emulate pieces of their catalog, though, and plans to continue doing just that.

Check out some of Chuck's music below, and thanks in advance for doing so.

Films That Inspired the Music

While I love music to the depths of my being, a person is permitted to have more than one passion. What better equal passion to nerd out on than the moving picture? Below is a small list, made in a lazy rush, that I hope to update soon.

Whether the films named below inspire music written by me directly, or whether they provoke towards artistic leanings that are interesting, surreal, demented, violent, or alien sounding is not really worth arguing.

There is one thing they all share. They all… and this will be cheesy but true…. have sound. It might be the only common thread across them all, but consider that next time you sit down for movie night and pay a little more attention to what the film sounds like.

I am of course somewhat biased, but I have watched every video and must recommend them all as required viewing. By far, these are my favorite Chuck W. live experiences; All of them.

For this page, I've decided to feature this incredibly old stream I did with a fun place in Vegas, called Palacio Palace, who was really quite the lifesaver to the community during Covid
