Welcome to the Chuck W. Blog!

Here we focus on music, artist interviews, concert reviews, album reviews, and anything else that is artsy.

If you are a musician on the cusp of a new release and wish to discuss your project in a Chuck W. Blog feature, please feel welcome to get hold of me

Interviews are ALWAYS free. There is no bait-and-switch here. I am merely a musician myself, who wants to help other musicians get a little publicity. I have ZERO intentions of monetizing this site. ALL interviews remain drafts until you give me the thumbs up to publish it.

Steven Drozd Departs The Flaming Lips

Steven Drozd has departed the Flaming Lips after 33 years of creating the psychedelic magic we've come to love. From his mesmerizing keyboard wizardry to his multi-instrumental genius, Steven has been the sonic backbone of one of rock's most innovative bands.

But after years of tension and some very public drama, the Oklahoma freaks have lost their mad scientist. Without Steven's playing to support the bombastic nature of the Flaming Lips we have known in the past, Wayne's bit definitely wear thin. If this doesn't get your blood pumping, check your pulse to see if you're dead. 'Nuff said!
