AskAudio
The greatest resource of them all?

… It may very well be.

So, I’m someone who is always on the hunt for a good tutorial regarding whatever instrument or musically inclined item I am presently working on. After a while of hunting on YouTube you get sort of sick of it. You always leave with a sense that you didn’t quite learn, or take away, as much information as what the video promised.

Ask.audio annihilates this premise for you. With more resources available then you could probably even count, this site is the holy Grail of modern music making.

I don’t usually pay for services. It’s not that I’m cheap, but it lies more so in the fact that I never feel that I am getting the proper value for paid educational services. Ask.audio forever changed my perception, though. I now feel as if I’m actually paying a laziness tax whenever I am not utilizing it. It’s that damn handy. I cannot recommend highly enough subscribing to their library pass feature, which gives you Total Access to a plethora of learning material with no B.S. limits.

With topics ranging from EQs and filters, to mastering essentials, to instructions on how to patch modular synthesizer systems – ask. Audio seems to cover the whole spread. It doesn’t really come down to what they’re offering you, it’s more about you having the time to take in everything which they are providing.

The annual cost is a mere $10 a month if you pay for the year up front. In my opinion, this is a steal for what you get. I feel foolish for all this time which I’ve been a musician and this website has not been a part of my life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Give it a whirl and please feel free to leave any feedback within the comments section of this post. Thanks for reading and keep on rockin’ and rollin’!
